Idaho Falls Rotary Club Scholarship

For Academic Year 2024-25 –
In 2024, the Idaho Falls Rotary Club #1041 will award six scholarships to qualifying students. A
qualifying student meets one of the following criteria:
• An ISU or UI student attending at University Place in Idaho Falls
• A student attending College of Eastern Idaho in Idaho Falls
• One graduating senior at each of the four Idaho Falls High Schools: Idaho Falls High School, Skyline
High School, Emerson High School and Compass Academy
Scholarships will be awarded based on community service, financial need, scholastic achievement, and
references. Scholarship awards will be paid directly to the educational institution (university, college, etc.)
after confirmation of enrollment is received from the registrar of the college or institution you plan to attend.
Applications should include:
1) A brief autobiography detailing your education and life goals. Please also include a brief description
of your financial need.
2) A description of community service activity including whether you are a member of a Rotary
affiliated Interact or RotorAct Club.
3) A statement contemplating how the Rotary “Four-Way Test” relates to your life experiences and/or
our society. The Four-Way Test: 1) Is it the TRUTH? 2) Is it FAIR for all concerned? 3) Will it build
GOOD WILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4) Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
4) Official transcripts
5) Three letters of recommendation from:
a. A teacher, counselor, or principal
b. A volunteer organization or individual for whom you have done volunteer work
c. An individual not related to you
6. Name of the post secondary school you wish to attend.
