Price L. Lassahn-Worrell Scholarship in English

For Academic Year 2024-25. The Price L. Lassahn-Worrell Scholarship in English is awarded to an undergraduate student in their senior year who is enrolled at least 3/4 time as an English major. Preference is given to students with financial need. A statement describing a personal hardship and how it was overcome, a letter of reference from a faculty member, and a CV / resume are required. The scholarship is open to English majors in all three fields (literary, professional, or creative writing).

Price L. Worrell earned an undergraduate degree in General Studies with an emphasis in Linguistics at ISU and then pursued an MA in English. He established this scholarship in 2015 to assist students who like him, overcame great personal hardships in order to complete an undergraduate degree.
