Marguerite Henderson Scholarship

For Academic Year 2023-24 – The Marguerite Henderson Memorial Scholarship is one of many scholarships that are part of the Minority Scholarship program. Students can be in any major or any class level. Students must have a minimum 2.00 cumulative GPA and be attending full-time. Preference is given to a resident of Pocatello who is African American or to a member of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribe. Must be an Idaho Resident and a U.S. Citizen.

  3. If you are an enrolled member, you must attach certification of enrollment and blood degree with the Shoshone-Bannock Tribe.

STATEMENT: Provide an essay addressing your educational aims, chosen career, plans for accomplishment, leadership capabilities, need for this scholarship, and any other information or compelling life circumstances you consider to be pertinent. Please be aware that strong emphasis is placed on this section of the application by the selection committee. Be as complete as possible. 200-500 words is sufficient.
