Dr Richard & Lucy Meek Scholarship

For Academic Year 2024-25. The Dr Richard & Lucy Meek Scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in Dental Hygiene. Junior or Senior Class Level. Preference given to a single parent with children or a married student. Must be a full-time student and have a minimum GPA of 2.00. Financial need is required. Must be a U.S. Citizen and an Idaho resident. Preference given to students who were born and raised in Idaho and have a love for the outdoors. Dr. Richard Meek was a practicing orthodontist in Pocatello for 30 years. He was born and raised in Idaho and had a great love for the outdoors. He and his wife Lucy were devoted to their church and to the Boy Scouts of America, both serving in several capacities. Part of Combined Dental Hygiene awarding.
