Having Trouble Accessing Your Account?
- For Student Applicants – you can access BOSS using your BengalWeb User Name and Password. If you are a newly admitted ISU student, a link will be sent to you in an Email using the Email Address you provided on the ISU Admission Application. This link will take you to a web page where you will be asked to create a Password for your ISU Email and BengalWeb accounts. If you need help with this process, please contact the IT Service Desk at 208-282-HELP (4357) or help@isu.edu.
- For References who are ISU Faculty/Staff or Students – if you received the reference request to your standard ISU Email Address (ex: doejohn@isu.edu), please sign into BOSS using your BengalWeb User Name and Password. Once in BOSS you may have to change to the Reference Role after clicking on your name in the top right-hand corner. Then you should see the name of the student for whom you have been asked to be a reference. IMPORTANT: After clicking on Add a New File and Browse to select the letter/file to attach, please remember to click Submit.
- For Reviewers who are ISU Faculty/Staff or Students – you should access BOSS using your BengalWeb User Name and Password. If you need help with your BengalWeb User Name or Password, you may contact the IT Service Desk at 208-282-HELP (4357) or help@isu.edu. Once in BOSS you may have to change to the Reviewer Role after clicking on your name/initials in the top right-hand corner. Then you should see the Scholarship Opportunity you have been asked to review.

I have not received an invitation email: If you are serving as a Reference or Reviewer and have not received your invitation email, check your Spam or Junk folder. If you still cannot find your invitation email, reset your password to log in. Password recovery is handled by Blackbaud ID (BBID). See Blackbaud ID for password reset instructions.
If you are signing in with your ISU username as a Reference, Reviewer, or Donor, go to the Admin and Applicant tab to log in.
I cannot remember my password: Password reset is handled by Blackbaud ID (BBID). If you have forgotten your password, visit Blackbaud ID, select Forgot Password, and enter your email address. You will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password. For additional help, visit the Blackbaud ID Password Help page.
