F. W. “BILL” BERGESON MEMORIAL – Annual award to a student participating in track. Preference given to students from the Moreland/Blackfoot area. Selections made by the Athletics Department.

Bill was a Bingham County Senator, two terms 1957-1960, Member of the senate labor and industry State, Republican, involved in School Funding. Bergeson voted in favor of right to work legislation He is also a member of the agriculture, military, civil defense and livestock committees. He was employed by the agriculture department of the Utah-Idaho Sugar Co. He has been president of the Shelley Farm Bureau, director of the Kiwanis club, chairman of the Madison County Young Republicans
