Festival of Trees College of Business Scholarship Endowment

Idaho State Board of Education Policies allow for a transfer of funds from ISU to its affiliate
Foundation for funds raised by the institution for scholarship or program support in accordance
with the purpose for which the funds were raised.
The Festival of Trees is a cherished Pocatello community tradition that not only
encapsulates the holiday spirit but also fosters community unity in aid of local education and
community initiatives. The event ‘s proceeds play a pivotal role in supporting various
significant charities within the Pocatello community. Beneficiaries have included School
District 25’s Education Foundation, scholarships for business students at Idaho State University,
the local Alzheimer’s Association, United Way of Southeastern Idaho, and Make-A-Wish Idaho. As part
of this commitment, and in recognition of the support provided by the ISU College of Business for
helping to sponsor and promote this event, an endowed scholarship for the College of
Business is established using the funds generated from this heartfelt event.
