Guy Curtis Waid

Guy Curtis Waid, M.D., received his B.S. degree in Pharmacy from ISU in 1942. He attended Stanford Medical School, specializing in internal medicine. After two years in the Navy Medical Corps, he returned to San Francisco County Hospital. He and his wife, Yolanda, were married in 1948. In 1952, the couple moved to Idaho Falls, where Guy started his practice in internal medicine with a sub-specialty in cardiology. He practiced there until his death in 1980. Yolanda established the endowment as a lasting memorial to Guy.
