Staci Shryock Bio
Staci Marie Shryock was born on August 18th, 1970 in Bellflower, California and died on Friday the
29th of May at the age of 44 from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident. She was a hard-working mother of
three, a daughter, a sister, an aunt and a friend. She was an avid motorcyclist and a true, fiery redhead who
would light up any room she was in. She was full of compassion and energy and she impacted many people in
a positive way.
Staci’s compassion showed in her nursing. She worked in all aspects of nursing from being the
Behavioral Health Nurse at the hospital, to assisted living and finally to the psychiatric ward at Safe Haven
where her career in giving, loving and caretaking was cut too short.
We, the Shryock family, wanted to honor her memory, so we started a fundraiser for those who loved
her to get together once a year to ride and remember what a beautiful soul she was. With those funds we started
the Staci Shryock Memorial Scholarship. This money is awarded to a student in the nursing program at Idaho
State University. We want to thank you for applying for this scholarship and wish you all the best in your
pursuit of a nursing degree and all your future endeavors.
