Jeff and Jeanette Johnson

Jeff and Jeanette Johnson

Jeff and Jeanette Johnson are lifelong residents of Idaho. Jeff and Jeanette raised five children while operating a variety of agricultural businesses, including row-crop farming, which started in Bingham County and then expanding throughout the Southern, and South-Eastern areas of Idaho, and Northern Utah. Jeanette enjoyed a career as a dental-assistant, and Jeff managed the various business aspects of their farming operations. In 1 984, Jeff graduated from Idaho State University’s College of Business, which served him well throughout his agricultural career.

Impact

The Johnson’s established this endowment to help College of Technology students in need, especially those who have shown determination and drive in meeting their goals. The Johnson’s are interested in supporting students whose ambitions have set them apart from other students. Jeff noted how he wanted this gift to support the Dean at the College of Technology and allow him/her flexibility in making the award based on the greatest needs, and those objective circumstances or priorities that would matter the most.
