Jennifer A. Garner

Idaho State University College of Pharmacy Alumnus, Jennifer A. Garner, passed away on February 15, 2008, from complications of an extended illness. She was a member of the graduating class of 2001.

Jennifer attended ISU on Kasiska Health Sciences and Idaho State Board of Education Scholarships and was on the Dean’s list for 10 semesters. She graduated with high honors and was the recipient of the Outstanding Student Achievement Award. Jennifer completed her clinical rotations at the Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, Nevada and the Washoe Medical Center in Reno, Nevada.

True to her loving spirit, Jennifer performed considerable public service and was affiliated with numerous professional organizations in the community. Following her graduation, Jennifer went onto complete a pharmacy residency at Boise Veterans Medical Center where she continued to serve as a clinical pharmacist until her death. In 2005, Jennifer achieved the National Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties Certification in Pharmacotherapy.

A memorial endowment was established by Jennifer’s family in honor of her tireless energy and dedication to serve others and the passion she had for her profession and school.
