John R. Gregory
John Gregory has been a part of the Pocatello community since 2006. After a successful career in finance and banking, John continued his career with the ISU Foundation as the Director of Finance and Operations for the Foundation where he oversaw the financial operations of the ISU Foundation, and has been a generous supporter of the College of Arts and Letters programs and students.
Since his retirement from ISU, John has served on numerous other community boards, including the Idaho State Civic Symphony (ISCS) Board where he served as treasurer. His partner, Susan, plays the oboe and English horn in the ISCS and is a founding member of the City Creek Winds. He remains strongly connected to the symphony and other ISU music programs and regularly attends performance events.
Among John’s hobbies are genealogy and the history of his family, handmade cedar-strip canoe building (he has built a custom canoe for all of his children), and his love of the outdoors.
Impact
John is passionate about providing financial support and resources to assist students who are also passionate about music and the arts.
