LIFE HISTORY OF JUDITH “JUDI” MARIE BERNAT

Judith “Judi” Marie Bernat, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton “Tony” Bernat, was born in Blackfoot, Idaho, on July 15, 1944.

Judi graduated from Elmwood Elementary School in Blackfoot with high grades and graduated from Blackfoot High School where she excelled in scholastics, music, and other activities. She was a brilliant student.

In 1962, she attended Idaho State University and graduated with highest honors in Pharmacy in 1967. She was a member of the National Honor Society of Pharmacology Ro Chi. She often stated that I.S.U. was an excellent college and that anyone could achieve the highest educational goals because of the outstanding professors and the staff. She loved I.S.U.

In 1966, she married Gordon Strazzo. After graduation, she worked for Kaiser Foundation and for Skaggs Drug in Boise. She passed away on February 15, 1975. She is buried in Blackfoot at the Grove City Cemetery.
