This endowment serves as a tribute to celebrate and honor Dr. Scott Anderson’s remarkable 30 years of dedicated service to his profession, institution, community, and students. As Dr. Anderson prepares for his retirement in the spring of 2024, we believe there is no greater gesture than creating an enduring legacy that will provide ongoing support to students pursuing studies in music, ensuring that his influence continues to shape future musicians.
Throughout his tenure as conductor of the ISU Chamber & Concert Choir and the Camerata Singers, as well as his role as an educator in Choral Conducting, Choral Methods, and Voice, Dr. Anderson’s impact has been profound and far-reaching within the university community. His passion for music education and choral arts has not only enriched the lives of countless students but has also resonated globally through numerous international performance tours. Under his direction, the Camerata Singers have had the honor of performing at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, and have toured and shared their talents in over 25 countries.
