Rick and Mary Lou Aubrey
Rick and Mary Lou Aubrey both grew up in Southeast Idaho and attended Idaho State University, graduating in 1969. Mary Lou graduated with a degree in Business Education and Rick with a degree in Business Administration. Rick later received his education certification. While attending ISU, Mary Lou was a member of Gamma Phi Beta and Rick a member of Alpha Kappa Psi.
After graduation, Rick and Mary Lou, made up the two-person business education department at Soda Springs High School where they retired in 2008 after 35 years of teaching. While teaching, they owned and operated a summer restaurant business in Lava Hot Springs and continued to live there after retirement.
Impact
Both Rick and Mary Lop believe in the value that a business education can offer students and that skills learned through this curriculum are important in a broad spectrum of careers, They feel that assisting students at ISU in attaining their advanced education is extremely important.
