Robert L & W H 'Bill' Dixon

The Robert and W.H. Dixon Memorial Scholarship Endowment was created in memory of the brothers in 1998 by their widows, Dotty (Bill) and Marilyn (Bob), to recognize the meaningful difference they made in the profession of pharmacy. Bill graduated from the ISU College of Pharmacy in 1957 and co-owned Dixon Drug in Susanville, CA. Bob graduated from the College of Pharmacy in 1958 and earned his Ph.D. in Toxicology from the University of Iowa. He became a world-renowned toxicologist and completed his research and teaching career at Sterling-Winthrop Research Institute. All pharmacy students are eligible to apply for this award.
