ASISU (Graduate) - SPRING AWARDS

SPRING 2021 AWARD CYCLE. ASISU for Graduate Students: Should meet undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.75 over the last two years. Cumulative GPA on graduate work, if any, must be a minimum of 3.00. Students receiving a teaching or graduate fellowship/assistantship or other awards that pay for tuition are not eligible for an ASISU Scholarship. Scholarship application deadline is THE FRIDAY OF MID-TERM WEEK TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE NEXT AWARD PERIOD. Maximum award will not exceed 25% of full time resident fees. Reference Letters must be submitted no later then 7 days after the scholarship deadline. Student MUST be a full-time student the semester they apply and semester awarded. IMPORTANT NOTE: AWARDS ARE MADE BASED OFF OF YOUR CURRENT STATUS WHEN YOU APPLY. IF YOU ARE NOT A GRADUATE STUDENT AT THE TIME YOU ARE APPLYING FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP AND ARE CURRENTLY AN UNDERGRADUATE, PLEASE APPLY FOR THE ASISU UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP.

  2. GRADUATES ONLY (All others mark N/A): Will you be receiving a teaching or graduate fellowship/assistantship or other awards that pay for tuition for the award semester: Students that say "YES" are not eligible for this scholarship.
  3. Letter of Reference (Graduate Students ONLY): Please request one letter of reference from your major department and/or advisor. You should notify this individual to expect an email regarding this request. You are responsible for ensuring references are submitted by the required deadline.
