Sunbelt Broadcasting Scholarship

For Academic year 2024-25. The Sunbelt Broadcasting Scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in Advertising, Graphic Design, Journalism, Photography, Public Relations, or Video Production. Student must be full-time during the award year and a Junior or Senior Class Level. Minimum GPA of 2.0 or greater. Student must have received a C- or better in CMP1110 and one of the following (CMP2231; CMP2251; CMP2201; or CMP2202). Essay required.

  3. Essay Submission: Applying concepts from your coursework, create a piece of visual or textual AI generated content. After creating the item (which you'll include in your submission, along with the tool and prompt used), write a critique that assesses 1) the ethics of using AI to create content and 2) the overall quality/effectiveness of the content. Please draw from a minimum of three credible news sources or other scholarly works in drafting your essay. The critique should be a minimum of 3 pages double spaced (excluding AI content).
