The Maineri Law Firm Higher Education Scholarship

Through the Maineri Law Firm Higher Education Scholarship, we provide a $1,000 scholarship to an undergraduate student each semester. Students who plan to pursue graduate degrees in certain fields may apply for the scholarship, which may be used to pay tuition costs or other expenses related to a college education, such as books, supplies, or room and board. Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
Undergraduate students may apply for our scholarship, which may be used to address educational expenses during their freshman, sophomore, or junior year. Our scholarship is available for those who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and who plan to pursue graduate degrees in one of the following fields:

History
Journalism
Political science
Communications
Education
Language
Literature
Psychology
Geology
Geography
Degrees related to the legal field
Environmentally-related degrees
To qualify for the scholarship, a student must have a grade point average of at least 3.0 as of the academic semester they completed most recently, they must be at least 17 years old at the time they submit their application, and they must be a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident of the United States.
Submitting Your Scholarship Application:

You must attach documentation providing proof of enrollment as well as documentation of your GPA.

Along with your application, you must also submit an essay of up to 500 words answering the following question:
Why are you pursuing your field of study?
What type of graduate degree do you plan to obtain, and how will you use the lessons learned during your education as you pursue future career opportunities?

When reviewing applications and submitted essays, our scholarship team will look at whether an applicant meets the eligibility requirements, whether they have submitted all required information,
and whether they have answered the essay prompt in a clear, creative, concise, and well-organized manner.
