There’s Space for Everyone Scholarship

Extra Space Storage is a Utah-based company that owns and/or operates over 1,850 self-storage properties throughout the United States, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico. For the first time ever, we’re offering eight (8) $3,000 scholarships to incoming and current undergraduate and graduate students for the fall 2023 semester.

The 2023 There’s Space for Everyone Scholarship is aimed at providing students of all backgrounds equal access to educational opportunities. We recognize that academic achievement doesn’t fully capture what students have to offer. Instead of looking at their resumes, we’re asking applicants to submit a 500-800-word essay explaining how they’d use their education to help their community. Our goal is to help amplify the voices of the leaders of tomorrow.
To be considered for the 2023 There’s Space for Everyone Scholarship, you must provide a 500-800 word essay that answers each of the following questions:

How have you exhibited a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, or social justice through work, service, or other extra-curricular activities?
How will your education help you continue this commitment during college and beyond?
