Lower Snake River Educators Scholarship

The Lower Snake River Retired Educators are pleased to offer a scholarship opportunity to an employee or graduate of an Idaho School District who will be in their Junior or Senior year next term, pursuing a degree in education from an accredited college or university.

The awarding of the scholarship is contingent upon proof of enrollment at the Junior or Senior level, pursuing a degree in education from an accredited college or university.
PROCEDURE:
• Please type or complete the application in blue or black ink, and ensure your application is complete. Partial applications will not be considered.
• Attach the following information:
o All college related activities and awards associated with your education major.
o Other activities and leadership positions you have held in college.
o Attach two letters of recommendation, at least one of which is written by a college professor.
o Submit a one-page, double spaced essay stating why you have chosen to be a teacher and your need for financial assistance.
o Attach current transcripts.
