Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders Audiology Program: Graduate Assistant Application

For Academic Year 2024-2025. The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders Audiology Program: Graduate Assistant Application is for students who have successfully completed their first year of the Doctor of Audiology program with at least a 3.3 GPA or higher. Applicants will be full-time and must have the ability to work in a positive, professional, supportive and flexible manner with faculty and fellow students. Successful applicants must have the ability to manage their time well and remain organized. Non-Idaho residents and students with high need will get preference.

Description of Duties
*Housekeeping/Infection Control for main exam room, hearing aid room and lab, classrooms, speech clinic (tympanometry/screening audiometry area) and pediatric room.
*Hearing Conservation
*EHDI/Newbron Hearing Screening Follow-up
*Maintain an Audiometer Checkout List
*Coordinate equipment needs and help prepare for Health Fairs and screenings
*Responsibilities to Faculty for undergraduate and graduate courses
*Additional responsibilities as needed
