ADA Scholarship

For Fall 2024 Semester – The Americans with Disabilities Act Scholarship is awarded as part of the combined A.D.A. Awarded to students in any class level and in any major. Students must qualify under the ADA. Must be enrolled full-time with a minimum 2.00 cumulative GPA for undergraduate students and a minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA for graduate students. Financial need is required (FAFSA must be submitted). Award will be given to students who have a disability (recognized by the ADA).

  1. Documented Disability under the Americans with Disability Act?
    • Do you have a documented disability under the Americans with Disability Act? You must answer YES to this question to be eligible for this scholarship
    • Please attach documentation of Disability. (Note: documentation can come from a Physician, ISU ADA Center, Voc-Rehab, etc)
  2. STATEMENT: Provide an essay addressing your educational aims, nature of disability, ways you have overcome barriers to pursue your carrer goals, and need for this scholarship. Please be aware that strong emphasis is put by the selection committee on this section of the application. Be as complete as possible. 200-500 words is sufficient.
  3. I understand that I MUST complete a current FAFSA (fafsa.gov) before the deadline to be considered for this scholarship opportunity.
