Babe Caccia Scholarship
For Academic Year 2024-25. – The Babe Caccia Scholarship is awarded to a student that is enrolled in a Teacher Education Program at the Junior or Senior level. Must demonstrate financial need. Must be an Idaho Resident. Must have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Special preference is given to students pursuing coaching in educational settings, or those who have made coaching and interscholastic athletics an important part of their goals and objectives. Special preference also given to Student Athletes who have completed their eligibility and are within 30 hours of graduation from the teacher preparation program. Award amounts should be $1,000 to $1200 each. 2 awards preferable

Preference is given for demonstration of leadership abilities through employment and/or involvement in community service or student organizations; social conscience and respect for diversity. Preference is also given for commitment to working with children beyond traditional instructional settings, e.g. co-curricular activities, clubs and special programs.
