American Public Works Association (APWA) Rocky Mountain Chapter Scholarship

SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship will be awarded by the Rocky Mountain
Chapter of the American Public Works Association
(RMC/APWA) each year. The scholarships will be
awarded to applicants entering or continuing vocational
educational training or to applicants entering or continuing
a four-year college or university.
PURPOSE
The purpose is to provide assistance to aid in the payment
of tuition, books and fees for any applicant interested in
the Public Works field. Scholarship applicants must meet
all of the following criteria.
A. Maintained a cumulative grade point average from
high school of 2.50 or better.
B. Received a written acceptance from the college,
university or other educational institution they desire
to attend. If written acceptance is not included, a
statement as to why it is not included must be part of
the scholarship application. Verification of acceptance
will be required prior to the scholarship being issued.
C. Be a high school graduate or equivalent (G.E.D.).
D. Be a resident of the state of Idaho, Montana or
Wyoming for at least 6 months.
The scope of the scholarship program is designed to
include residents of Idaho, Montana or Wyoming who are
either high school graduates or equivalent (G.E.D.), and
enrolling in a trade school/ vocational educational training
program, or four-year college or university.
