American Truck Historical Society- Snake River Chapter

$1000 and a $750 Scholarship for Diesel Mechanics / Technology Students attending school in Southern Idaho.
These scholarships are sponsored by the Snake River Chapter of the American Truck Historical Society, ATHS. Our mission is to Study, Preserve and Share the history of trucking. These scholarships are to help train future diesel mechanics in helping to preserve the trucking industry.
Scholarship Information:
• These are one-time scholarships for the Fall 2024 Semester
• We will be awarding 2 scholarships to 2 students , one for $1000 and on for $750
• Open to students attending ISU Pocatello, CSI Twin Falls, CEI Idaho Falls and CWI Nampa
• Application due date is April 31,2024
• A recipient will be chosen by June 1st
• A check will be presented to the recipients on June 15th at the ATHS Snake River Chapter Truck show in Jerome Id at the Jerome County Historical Days at the IFARM. If the recipient is unable to attend, arrangements will be made for a later date.

Requirements:
• Must be enrolled, attending or just graduating a program in 2024
• Must be enrolled in a Heavy Duty Diesel program or equivalent
• Must maintain a GPA of 2.7 or higher
• Must be attending an accredited Diesel Mechanics/Technology program in Southern Idaho, including South West and South East Idaho.
