Champions of Justice Scholarship
Every day, the attorneys at the Law Offices of Biederman & Burleson P.L.L.C. wield the power and authority of the law to affect the lives of their clients positively. All the while, attorneys Biederman and Burleson have never lost sight of how they got to where they are today. Recognizing the importance of a solid college education, their law office offers the Champions of Justice $1,000 Scholarship to aid college students in pursuing their interest in law and justice.
We recognize that pursuing higher education is expensive, so we hope our scholarship provides helpful financial assistance to students with a passion for justice.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the scholarship, you must meet all of the following requirements:
You are an undergraduate student interested in attending law school. We encourage all students interested in the field of law to apply, especially those interested in criminal defense.
You are or will be attending an accredited college or university for the Fall 2024 semester.
You are a permanent resident or citizen of the United States.
You are at least 17 years of age.
Prospective applicants interested in applying for our scholarship are asked to submit:
Proof of enrollment at an accredited college or university (this may include an acceptance letter, class schedule, or unofficial transcript)
Unofficial academic transcripts from your most recently completed year in school

The scholarship application asks students to submit an essay of 250 to 500 words answering the following prompt:
What do you hope to achieve professionally in the field of law, and how will this scholarship help you reach your goals?
