Golden Garden Club Scholarship

Purpose
The purpose of the GGC $1500.00 scholarship is to support and advance the educational efforts of community members residing in Districts of Garden Clubs of Idaho, Inc., with highest consideration given to applicants enrolled in the study of horticultural education, environmental education or sciences, or biology as related to stated courses.

Eligibility and Requirements
• Applicant must be enrolled in and have completed at least two semesters, not necessarily consecutive, in an approved program at an institution of higher education located in Idaho. Approved programs are those with an emphasis on horticultural education, environmental studies, or agricultural science.

• Applicant will attach an essay, limited to two double-spaced pages with a 12-point font. Essay will discuss applicant’s educational and career goals, experience in the area of horticulture or related area of study, academic progress (state GPA) and how this scholarship will help attain goals.
