2024 Post Scholarship
Two (2) $3,500.00 Scholarships
REQUIREMENTS
Applicant must be a US Citizen.
Enrolled in an engineering program, architecture program, or one of the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programs listed below leading to a BS degree or equivalent.
AND Undergraduate class standing of sophomore, junior or first semester senior
AND Attending The University of Idaho, Idaho State University, Boise State University, BYU Idaho, or Northwest Nazarene University
OR A son or daughter of a SAME Gem State Post member having undergraduate class standing of sophomore, junior or first semester senior enrolled in an engineering program or one of the programs listed below leading to a BS degree or equivalent at any accredited university
Applications will be submitted via email only to Timothy Wood. A full application must include:
Statement of extra-curricular activities from applicant. Include the following:
School Activities
Volunteer Activities
Letter of recommendation from a University Professor or Official in the STEM department where the student’s major is located
The letter of recommendation must be signed by the person making the recommendation.
Copy of an official transcript—will be required before scholarship award. For initial application submitting an unofficial copy of the transcript is acceptable

Provide a permanent email address
Provide your student Identification Number associated with your Bursar Account

Involvement in university and community programs
Letter of Recommendation from a University Professor or Official

Student membership in the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME)
Military Engineering Familiarization at Mountain Home Air Force Base or Military Base adjacent to your school or home (accommodations paid for)
