Spokeo Artificial Intelligence Scholarship

This scholarship is designed to inspire students across all fields of study to engage with one of the most groundbreaking technologies of our time—artificial intelligence. We invite your students to participate by submitting an essay that explores the future of AI and its potential to shape the world.
Eligibility
Each entry must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for the scholarship:
Must be accepted to a U.S. based university or college
(scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to your school)
All fields of study are eligible
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be a legal resident of the United States
Must submit a written essay between 800 – 1,250 words
Must provide at least two completed letters of recommendation
(recommendation letter form)
Please submit all documents in English
Cannot be an employee or family member of an employee of Spokeo
Essay Topic
Please use the following prompt for your essay:
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
AI has advanced significantly over the past two years. Do you think we will achieve Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and reach the technical singularity within the next decade? Or do you believe we are still far from that milestone? Why?
Write your essay
Essay must be between 800 – 1,250 words.

Submit your application
Send an email with the subject line “Application for Fall 2025 Scholarship” to scholarships@spokeo.com and be sure to include:

A photo of yourself
Separately, provide at least two recommendation letters via Google Forms.
To ensure that each recommendation letter is linked to your essay and photo, make sure the same email address you use to send in your essay is listed as the “Student’s Email Address” on the recommendation letter form.
Proof of enrollment will be required
If selected as a finalist, you will be required to provide proof of enrollment for scholarship consideration prior to award disbursement.
