Westmark Credit Union Scholarship

Westmark Credit Union is committed to the advancement of education in our communities and for our members.
As an expression of this commitment, Westmark will award fifteen $2,500 scholarships in 2026, open to anyone pursuing post-secondary higher education.
Eligibility & Requirements
Scholarships are only available to members of Westmark Credit Union who have met the following criteria:

Have an active Westmark Credit Union account
Attend a State Accredited or Licensed Post-Secondary university, college or trade school in any state.
Write an essay of 300 words answering the following question:
“During your lifetime, what is the most important contribution you hope to make in society with your chosen career?”
Scholarship funds are to be used in the ‘26-’27 school year. *Beyond Go-On recipients can work with the financial literacy team.

Second-Year Opportunity
All 15 recipients of the 2026 Westmark Scholarship will have the opportunity to apply to receive an additional second-year scholarship of $2,500 for 2027.
This second-year scholarship will be awarded to 5 recipients of the 2026 scholarship and will require a separate application.
