Pursuing higher education is both an exciting and challenging journey that often requires significant financial investment. Nix Patterson seeks to recognize students who have shown dedication to their studies, perseverance in overcoming obstacles, and active involvement in their communities.

For graduating high school seniors or current undergraduate students continuing their education at an accredited college or university.

Award Amount: $5,000
Eligibility:
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Must be a high school senior or first- or second-year college/trade school student
Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
Must demonstrate community involvement
Application Requirements:
Submit a 500–700 word essay and/or a 1–2 minute video introducing yourself, your educational and career goals, the challenges you’ve overcome, and your commitment to community service.
Provide an unofficial copy of your high school or college transcript.
Deadline to Apply:
All applications and supporting materials must be submitted by July 31, 2026.
