Next Generation of Public Service Scholarship
Public service workers play an invaluable role in our society. From firefighters to public defenders, people in these professions deserve recognition for their contribution to an equitable and just society. At Silverman Thompson, we are proud to give back to aspiring public servants with the Next Generation of Public Service Scholarship.
This $1,000 opportunity is open to undergraduate students in need of financial assistance who are working toward a career in public service.
Eligibility Requirements
If you are interested in applying to the Next Generation of Public Service Scholarship, please review all of our scholarship requirements listed below:
You must be a current undergraduate student interested in a public service career.
You must have demonstrated financial need and a household income of $75,000 or less.
You must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
You must be at least 17 years old.
You must be a United States citizen.
How to Apply
We ask that all applicants for the Next Generation of Public Service Scholarship submit a written essay responding to the following prompt in approximately 500 words:
What career in public service do you intend to pursue after graduation? How will this scholarship advance your career goals?
Applicants are also asked to submit proof of their achieved GPA, financial need, and enrollment.
