Martens Family Foundation Scholarship
For Academic Year 2014-15 – The Martens Family Foundation Scholarship will be awarded to ISU students who are Civil Engineering majors and have completed the first 2 years of engineering coursework. Recipients must be interns in good standing at EHM Engineering or have successfully completed an internship at EHM Engineering. A proficiency in math courses must be demonstrated along with a commitment to an engineering degree and profession. Recipients shall demonstrate an interest in the Consulting / Professional Engineering profession. Finalist shall receive a personal interview prior to final selection.

- STATEMENT: Provide an essay addressing your educational / career goals, personal circumstances and need for this scholarship. Please also describe your plans for completing your degree in a timely fashion. Provide details of your work experience and community involvement. Express your interest in the Consulting / Professional Engineering profession. Be aware that strong emphasis is placed on this section of the application by the selection committee. Be as complete as possible. 200-500 words is sufficient.
- Letter of Reference: Please request a letter of reference from your EHM supervisor. You should notify this individual to expect an email regarding this request. You are responsible for ensuring references are submitted by the application deadline.
