Idaho Power Scholarship Application for Academic Excellence

Idaho Power’s $2,000 scholarship program provides 10 student fee/tuition grants for graduating service area high school students. Any student residing in the Idaho Power service area who is in the graduating class of an accredited high school or its rated equivalent, plans full-time attendance at any accredited Idaho or Oregon two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school beginning in the fall semester following high school graduation, and has a minimum 3.75 unweighted GPA (grade point average), may apply. In an effort to ensure fairness in the scholarship selection process, all GPAs must be calculated and submitted as unweighted GPAs. A 250-300 word essay is required, copies of ACT and/or SAT scores, 3 letters of recommendation, official transcripts.
