University Honors Program

For Academic Year 2018-2019. The University Honors Program at Idaho State University is an elite academic program for students who aspire to a more engaging and enriching collegiate experience. The program synthesizes the idea of a structured learning community within an interdisciplinary curriculum. Each class is fashioned into small cohorts and led by extremely dedicated and passionate professors who devote themselves to the development of their students. *Honors Scholarships are awarded to those who are selected. * To be eligible, student must be a “new” incoming freshman (first time student) with;
•High school GPA of 3.6 or better *AND *
•Meet either the SAT or ACT Minimum listed below:
-OLD SAT Minimum: 1130 Critical Reading and Math (prior to March 2016)
-NEW SAT Minimum: 1200 Critical Reading, Writing + Math (after March 2016)
-ACT Minimum: 25 composite
NOTE: Current ISU students interested in joining the University Honors Program are also encouraged and welcome to apply. Students selected are part of a wonderful UHP program, however no scholarship money is available to them.
