Firefighting Scholarship
A parent’s occupation plays a major role in a child’s life, so we want to hear from them. Rosenbaum & Associates are offering a $3000 student scholarship to a college student of a firefighter parent who can embody what is it like to grow up with your parent in this occupation.
Participants are asked to write a 500+ word essay answering the prompt, How has your parent being a firefighter influenced your life?
• Be graduating high school in 2016 or actively enrolled in an accredited technical school, college, or university in the U.S (graduate students are welcome to apply)
• Have a biological or step parent who has served as a firefighter
In order to apply, participants must submit
• 500+ word essay, relating to the prompt
• First and last name, email address and phone number, listed at the beginning of the essay
• Parent’s full name, associated fire department, and badge number listed at the beginning of the essay
• A copy of the participant’s transcript or any form of attendance verification at an accredited technical school, college, or university
