InternetProviders.com Scholarship
The internet has shaped modern life in too many ways to count. There’s no getting around it: the internet affects our social lives both individually and globally. In your opinion, are these effects primarily positive (leading to an increased cultural awareness and solidarity) or negative (exaggerating tensions between cultures that don’t see eye-to-eye)? Take a position and argue your point. Historical references, current events, anecdotes, and philosophy are all fair game. Be as specific and persuasive as possible. You could win a $1,000 scholarship toward your college expenses.
Requirements:
• All applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent legal residents of the United States.
• All applicants must be either: (1) a high school or home school senior graduating or earning a GED who will enroll as a freshman at a two-year or four-year college or university in spring 2017, or (2) a student enrolled during the 2016-17 academic year on a full-time basis and in good academic standing at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university or in an accredited graduate school program.
