Guiding Light Scholarship

Providing opportunities for growth and self-improvement through addiction recovery is important to the sustainability of a clean and sober lifestyle. Because Addiction Recovery Now understands how important it is to be given a second chance in recovery, we have created the Guiding Light scholarship, which offers college students in recovery $500 to $1000 toward tuition at any U.S. educational institution.
Criteria:
• Be consistently clean and sober for one year or longer.
• Be enrolled in an accredited educational institution in the United States
• Be enrolled in a vocational/trade program
• Be prepared to begin courses within 6 months of application window
• If you meet the requirements to receive this scholarship, follow the application instructions provided on our online application form. You will also need to submit a 750 to 1000 word essay about how recovery has positively impacted your life and your plans for the future. Examples include plans for starting your own business, financially supporting yourself and your family, or contributing to the recovery community.
