Pacific Northwest Section of the American Water Works Association Scholarship

The Pacific Northwest Section of the American Water Works Association is offering scholarships to students attending schools in our region. These scholarships are intended for students whose major coursework may point them toward a career in the water supply industry. Eligible academic areas include but are not limited to water supply operation/technology, civil or environmental engineering, or public administration/finance. Scholarship amounts vary year to year. In 2016, the Section provided a total of $27,000 in scholarship funds to eight students.
To Apply
Students in relevant degree programs, including PNWS members and their families are encouraged to apply. Relevant fields of study include engineering, water resources, water or environmental technology, public administration, and environmental health. Students must be engaged in community college work, the second year or above of undergraduate work, or graduate work leading to a degree in a relevant field.
