In order to apply, write a 500+ word essay (-pdf format), on why an education is important. Give us examples of how you’ve persevered through the obstacles in order to get an education. What have you learned from these challenges, and how will that prepare you for the challenges you face as a student in a higher education environment? Show examples, and defend your answer.
In order to participate in the $2,000.00 scholarship contest, students applying must meet the following criteria:
• Student must be currently attending or planning to attend a college or university during the fall of 2018 academic year.
• Must be in good academic standing with your current educational institution.
• For applicants under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

• Participants must be enrolled at an accredited high school, college, or university in the U.S.A.
• First maintain a cumulative Grade Point (average (GPA of at least 3.0 (or equivalent))
