Michael H. Schwartz P.C. Creative Scholarship

The law office of Michael H. Schwartz, P.C., is providing high school juniors and seniors and current college students with an opportunity to win scholarship money to help further their education. Our firm is offering a total of $1,500 in scholarships ($1,000 for first place and $500 for second) to students who attend or plan to attend a two-year or four-year college or university anywhere in the United States. Winners will be chosen based on a submitted essay or video (details below), school activities, leadership positions, honors and awards, community service, academic performance, and professional pursuits.
In order to be eligible for the scholarship program, applicants must be:
• A U.S. citizen or a legal permanent U.S. resident
• Enrolled in a two-year or four-year college or university in the United States – or –
• A high school junior or senior who plans to enroll in a two-year or four-year college or university in the United States
• Requirements:
• A digital photo of yourself (.jpg)
• A copy of your high school or college transcript; and
• A creative project on the following topic: Should student loan debt be discharged during bankruptcy?
• For the creative project, applicants must submit either a written essay or a video on the topic listed above. Essays may not exceed 600 words. Videos may not exceed 2 minutes.
