JRM Foundation for Humanity
Established in 2011, the JRM Foundation for Humanity is committed to “improving the lives of women and children locally and around the world through education, health, and emergency relief efforts.” The Foundation was created by the Jamshaid, Rahim, and Mannan families to support local philanthropic initiatives and encourage others to partner in their support.
As a commitment to further support higher education in Southeast Idaho and in its surrounding rural communities, Beena Mannan, Co-Founder and Executive Director of the JRM Foundation, is also an active member of the ISU Foundation Board and chairing the Development Committee. Annually, the JRM Foundation for Humanity hosts a fundraising gala to celebrate community members who are dedicated to improving their local communities. The JRM Foundation for Humanity has significantly impacted the local community through their own spirit of philanthropy and they continuously encourage others to do the same.
The 2022 scholarship was awarded at the JRM Foundation Fundraising Gala in September, 2022, and was given in honor of Idaho Senator Mark Nye who recently passed away and was a great supporter of the JRM Foundation for Humanity and ISU.
